Cosplayer, gamer and digital designer. Sadly, I only get paid for doing one of these things.
Interests
I entered the new Cosplay Championship at LFCC last Sunday with the Diablo Barbarian. Very, very happy to announce that I won!

She was first runner up at May MCM Expo, but I'm so pleased that this costume has won something, after all the time and effort that went into making her.

Winner, LFCC Cosplay Masquerade 2015.

Because I'm completely in love with the character designs of Diablo 3, I just couldn't stop at the Barbarian. I'd wanted to make a Demon Hunter for a while, so it was only a matter of time before this happened. Originally I'd planned to make the dark grey suit - the one from all the promotional material - but something about this design just grabbed me.

All the armour is made from Worbla, using 2mm craft foam as a base. Painting was done by hand again, using silver and brass acrylics drybrushed on. The crossbow has an MDF core, again covered in Worbla. There's about three sets of horns on this one, so I made a bendable form from wire, padding and a cut up old t-shirt. Hot Worbla was wrapped around that, left to cool, then taken off once complete and filled with expandable foam.

This was taken in the ruins of Bishops Waltham Palace - such a beautiful setting and a perfect place for Tristram.

Second place, Eurogamer Expo Cosplay Championship 2015.

We had really good weather this weekend, with some low sun that was perfect for replicating the Earth settings of Destiny. So we took a whole bunch of photos against this beautiful concrete wall, and another bunch of screenshots from the PS4. Then Si did some editing, and these are the results.

The armour set is made from our usual array of materials - EVA foams, Worbla, mountboard, foam putty, car filler and fibreglass - and painted with a combination of spray paints and hand brushing.

This shot is just taken studio style, to show off the full majesty of that outfit!

Since I wouldn't have been able to do some birthday muro drawings, I got two extra drawing copies, so...
SURPRISE;
Believe it or not, two birthday muro drawing copies I made, of chibi Haruhi Suzumiya and Mikuru Asahina wishing you one, so, wishes 'n' luck!

We don't do commissions I'm afraid... Because we work 9 - 5 every day, we only have a little bit of time evenings and weekends to make costumes. Generally we only barely get our own cosplays done, so we'd hate to promise something to someone and let them down by not being able to do it in time.

You can find good commissioners on cosplay.com though. :)
