Fran: Shatterheart by LittleBlondeGoth Fran: Shatterheart by LittleBlondeGoth

Cosplay of Fran from Final Fantasy XII. Proud to say I won the inaugural Masquerade at the Eurogamer Expo with this costume - their first, and mine too!

Probably my favourite costume to wear, though I did invent several new swear words whilst making it. Her armour and helm are made from craft foam, coated with black spray paint and ebony Rub 'n' Buff. The corset is more foam armour, 4-in-1 chainmail, and a miracle of structural engineering.

Looks fantastic, and it actually made me want to go to the range, seeing your nice functional recurve a lot like mine :)

Thanks very much. :) One of the things I like about this costume is that I get to use my real bow. :)

Not an easy character to pull off by any sense of the term. I'm very impressed! Best I've seen of this character by quite a distance!

Thank you so much - this costume took a lot of work to get accurate, Fran is definitely not easy to make. :)

I can't imagine it would be. Aside from all of the parts being seemingly quite complex, it needs to be fitted to your body I should think. I've seen a couple that weren't really fitted properly and...well let's just say your work payed off, lol!
