Armour making newbie attempts hideously difficult project.

This is the helmet for FFXII's Fran made purely from craft foam. Two identical shapes glued together and heat shaped, with lots of fiddly bits glued over the top to make the pattern, and some rivets for the er... rivets. Spray painted black to make it nice and even, then finished off with some ebony Rub'n'Buff to make it look a bit more leather like.
