Diablo 3 has some gorgeous character and armour designs, so I just had to make the Barbarian as my very first Worbla project. Or, as I was called at Expo, Xena Warrior Badass.
Really enjoyed working with Worbla, it was a lot of fun to use and it turns out you can mould it into all kinds of shapes. So all the skulls were individually worked around Fimo bases, the pointy spikes on the breastplate were hand sculpted, and all the excess bits were heated and rolled together into horns, bones and studs.
Most people recommend smoothing out the rough surface of the Worbla by sealing it, but we really liked the way the paint went on and stuck to it unevenly - gave it a really wild look. Painting was done by hand, using an assortment of acrylics, drybrushed on in layers. An assortment of faux fur, D-rings and leather cord hold everything together.
